The organization Linkee Paris is being associated with the Paris city to offer to all students, whether they have a scholarship or not, food baskets or meals already prepared freely twice a week. The 5kg baskets will allow to prepare many meals and are formed with mainly biological products and/or issued from sustainable farming.
How to benefit ?
To benefit from the food help for students, nothing is more simple ! You just have to pre-register by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and come during the distributions to get a prepared meal or a food basket. There are no restrained number of time you can come, you can come as many time as you want.
Location, hours and dates
The distributions will take place at l’ESSpace, a student associative bar located at 15 rue Jean Antoine de Baïf, 75013 Paris , Mondays and Thursdays from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
Distribution Center Restos du Coeur de Paris
The Restos du Cœur of Paris, in partnership with the CROUS of Paris and the support of the city of Paris, have opened a welcome and food aid center dedicated to students.
The food aid is offered freely to student who have an accommodation in Paris (75) and answering the criteria of income ceiling of Restos du Coeur de Paris.
They allow to constitue a food package with the offered products (milk, canned food, rice, pasta, desserts etc… and soon fresh products according to the shipment: fruits, vegetables, dairy) while respecting the goal of nutritional balance.
How to benefit ?
The access to the distribution center of Restos du Coeur de Paris requires a registration which take place on the location during an interview with a volunteer of The Restos du Coeur. This sharing moment also allows to discuss possible needs of support, beyond food support. Once registered, you’ll be able to access immediately to the food aid.
Important : : to register, the Restos du Coeur will ask you to bring the following documents according to your situation:
- Identity document
- Attestation of accommodation in Paris: rent receipts, accommodation certificate, student residence…
Documents for revenues and expenses corresponding to your situation. For income: scholarship, CAF, salary statements, unemployment benefits, family help; for expenses: rent receipts, housing charges (water, electricity, charges), tuition fees, bank loan fees.
Location, hours and dates
The distributions will take place in the local of the CROUS of Paris at 8 rue Francis de Croisset, 75018 Paris (métro Porte de Clignancourt) on Tuesdays from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Multiple aids at Secours populaire
Le Secours populaire provides two students antennas in Paris. By appointment and according to your needs, you’ll be able to freely benefit from a food aid (punctually or throughout the year), hobbies help but also clothing aids thanks to their charity shop.
The helps of Secours populaire are available for all the students whether they have a scholarship or not. To access it, you have to make an appointment on one of the two student antennas. A volunteer will welcome you and according to your situation and needs, they will give you access to one or many of these devices.
Bayet antenna – 6 rue Albert Bayet (13th)
The permanence occurs on Tuesdays from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and Fridays from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. To make an appointment, send an email to email@example.com
Important: by email, indicate your contact details and needs; by phone it’s only possible Tuesday from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Jussieu antenna – Sorbonne Université, Espace Vie Etudiante, 4 place Jussieu (5th)
The permanence occurs Thursday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. No appointment is required to be welcomed during this permanence. You just have to show your student card and a statement of your financial resources.
Important: this permanence is currently available only for students of Jussieu campus.
